We currently care for patients in Washington and Arizona. As our provider network grows, we'll be welcoming patients in more states. If you'd like to know when we're available in yours, please reach out through our contact page.

Foundation Health Therapy is a personalized approach to hormone optimization, peptide therapy, and long-term wellness. Every patient begins with comprehensive labs and a provider consultation, and every recommendation is shaped by your data, never by a template.

What is Foundation Health Therapy?

01

About Foundation Health Therapy

No. Foundation Health Therapy cares for adults only, and we do not treat minors.

Do you treat adolescents or anyone under 18?

04

Everything happens virtually, including your provider consultation, follow-up visits, and messaging with your care team. Your lab work is completed at a partner draw site close to you.

Are visits in person or virtual?

03

No. We're not a replacement for primary care. Your primary care provider remains an important part of your health, and we encourage you to continue seeing them for routine care, preventive screenings, and anything beyond what we specialize in.

Do you replace my primary care provider?

05

No. Foundation Health Therapy operates outside of the insurance system, a choice that lets us spend meaningful time with you, order the labs your provider truly needs, and build a plan around who you are rather than what a claim form allows.

Do you take insurance?

02

First Principles is $399 and includes everything you need to begin your care. Therapies, follow-up labs, and ongoing provider visits are priced separately, and you'll always know what something costs before you commit to it. Transparent pricing is something we care deeply about.

How much does it cost to be a patient?

01

getting started

002

No. Once your care has begun, First Principles is non-refundable because your labs and your provider's time have already been given to you personally. If you'd like to talk anything through before purchasing, please reach out through our contact page. We'd love to help you feel sure about your decision before you take this step.

Is First Principles refundable?

04

Yes, and we encourage it. HSA and FSA cards are welcome where eligible.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Our panel is designed to give your provider a complete picture of what's shaping how you feel, including a full hormonal profile, metabolic and thyroid markers, indicators of inflammation and cardiovascular health, and the nutrient and recovery signals that matter for long-term wellness. It's a thoughtful foundation for a thoughtful plan.

What's included in the lab panel?

02

Our care model is built around our own lab panel because it's designed specifically for the therapies we offer and the way we care for our patients. Outside labs vary in what they test for, how recent they are, and how they're reported, and we don't want to build something as personal as your care plan on an incomplete picture. Beginning with our panel is how we make sure every recommendation we give you is truly yours.

Why do you require your own labs? Can I bring results from my primary or another provider?

01

Labs & Care Rhythm

Your body is always evolving, and your care should evolve with it. Repeat labs are how we make sure your plan is still the right one, and how we notice anything that deserves attention before it becomes a bigger concern. Prescriptions are also written for no longer than six months at a time, so keeping your bloodwork current is part of caring for you safely and well.

Why do I need to keep repeating labs?

04

Every patient begins with a three-month follow-up, including labs and a provider visit, so we can see how your body is responding and adjust your plan where needed. From there, you'll move into a six-month rhythm of labs and provider check-ins, keeping your care personal and current as your body changes over time.

What is the care rhythm?

03

Every prescription we write is prepared by a licensed 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy we've carefully chosen and trust deeply. These are pharmacies held to strict federal and state standards for sterility, potency, and quality, the same standards we hold ourselves to in every part of your care. Once your provider releases your prescription, your medications are shipped directly to your home.

You'll hear a lot of noise online about peptides and hormones sold outside of a real clinical relationship. Those "research-only" products aren't held to any of the standards our patients deserve. If we prescribe it, it's because it's been prepared for you, safely and specifically, by a partner we know by name.

Where do our medications come from, and how do you choose your pharmacies?

02

We offer a curated collection of therapies focused on hormone optimization, metabolic health, cognitive support, sleep, recovery, and overall vitality. What you see on our Services page is a sampling. Your provider will recommend what's right for you based on your labs and what you're hoping for from your care.

What kinds of therapies do you offer?

01

therapies

004

It depends on the therapy and on you. Some patients notice changes in energy or sleep within a few weeks. Hormone shifts and metabolic changes tend to unfold more gradually. Your provider will share what to expect for your specific plan, and your follow-up visits are where we look together at what's truly working.

How long before I feel results?

04

Because our therapies require specialized preparation, we work only with the pharmacy partners we know can deliver them to the standard our patients deserve. Keeping this circle small is one of the ways we protect the quality of your care.

Can you send my prescription to my local pharmacy?

03

Of course. There's no obligation to continue, ever. If you'd like to pause, stop, or change something in your care, talk with your provider and they'll help you do it safely and thoughtfully.

Can I pause or stop a therapy?

06

This is exactly why we begin with labs. Your provider will recommend what's right for you based on your data, and sometimes that means guiding you toward something more effective than what you first had in mind. Our purpose isn't to sell you a therapy. It's to help you feel better.

What if my provider doesn't recommend the therapy I was hoping for?

05

005

All communication with your care team flows through your Health Concierge in your patient portal. Send a message any time, and your concierge will make sure your questions reach the right person and come back with the answers you need.

How do I contact my provider?

02

Our providers are licensed clinicians credentialed in the states we serve, with real training and experience in hormone and peptide medicine. You'll meet your provider during your initial consultation, and they'll be the one walking with you through your care from that point forward.

Who are your providers?

01

Providers & Care

Please share this openly with your provider during your consultation. Some conditions or medications shape what therapies are right for you, and your provider will guide you through what fits best for your full picture. If you'd like to talk through your situation before becoming a patient, please reach out through our contact page.

What if I have a pre-existing condition or take other medications?

04

Please reach out to your Health Concierge through the patient portal. We're here for you between visits, not just during them.

What if I have a question between visits?

03

No. Foundation Health Therapy does not initiate treatment during pregnancy. If you are currently pregnant, we recommend speaking with your OB or primary care provider about appropriate lab testing and timing rather than purchasing Foundation labs at this time.

CAN I RECEIVE TREATMENT IF I’M PREGNANT?

03

Yes, always. Your health information is kept private and confidential in accordance with HIPAA, and we also honor Washington's My Health My Data Act, which means your health data is never sold, and we ask for your explicit permission before sharing anything beyond your care.

Is my health information private?
